If migrating existing infrastructure into eMabler, use the following checklist. Proper migration planning ensures your chargers, data, and integrations transition smoothly without impacting service availability. eMabler will guide you and support you throughout the entire process, providing best practices and technical expertise for a seamless move.

Checklist:

1. Define User & Permission Management

  • Who will manage users: eMabler or your internal team?

  • Will Sub-CPOs manage their own Sites?

Clear permission structures protect your EV charging network from unauthorized access while ensuring operational efficiency for site owners and operators.

2. Prepare and Clean Data

Ensure that all migration data is:

  • Can migration be automated (batch import)?

  • Are manual changes (e.g., SIM swap, endpoint reconfiguration) required?

  • Is OCPP test needed for the chargers?

A detailed migration flow helps determine which chargers can be moved via bulk processes and which require on-site updates, keeping downtime to a minimum.

  • Review if Push API is suitable for your use case
