Grouping Multiple Tariff Types
In eMabler, multiple tariff types can be grouped together within one tariff, allowing you to create comprehensive pricing strategies. For example, you might combine an ENERGY consumption tariff (charged per kWh) with a TIME tariff (charged per hour of charging), providing greater flexibility and detailed pricing structures.
Example:
Energy consumption: 0.1 EUR/kWh (Tax 14%)
Time: 0.05 EUR/h (Tax 14%)
This grouping allows charging sessions to accurately reflect both the energy usage and the time the charger was occupied, optimizing billing accuracy and operational efficiency.

Advanced Spot Price Settings
Manage complex spot price scenarios with:
Price Cap: Max allowed spot price.
Cost Percentage: Percent applied to excess above cap.
Time Constraints Section
This allows dynamic pricing depending on time and day.
Toggle: "Time constraints"

This lets you define specific periods when this price is active. You can have multiple price components (e.g. night rate, weekend rate) with different timings.
Validity Dates
Start date:
10/07/2025
(inclusive)End date:
31/07/2025
(exclusive)Meaning the price component was valid from July 10th to July 30th, 2025, and now it has expired.

Start time / End time fields (below schedule) are empty, implying:

Example Scenario:
Spot price: 0.27 NOK/kWh
Cap: 0.18 NOK/kWh
Percentage: 30%
Calculation:
Excess: 0.09 NOK/kWh (0.27 - 0.18)
Additional: 0.027 NOK/kWh (30% of excess)
Total: 0.207 NOK/kWh (0.18 + 0.027)
