Charger events

Charger events show the most important status changes and errors reported by the chargers. Events are meant to be a human readable way to quickly see if the charger is misbehaving to start the troubleshooting process. Charger events can be found under Charger > Activity > Events.

Events can be filtered by free text search, timestamp and socket. Refresh button will fetch latest events reported by the charger according to the given filters. Events contain

  • Timestamp

    • Event timestamp, when did the event happen

  • Socket

    • Socket id of the socket where the event happened

    • Note that socket 0 means the whole charger, not an individual socket

  • Status

    • Socket status changes

  • Type

    • Charger event types, such as charger_state or authorize

  • Information

    • Free text field for further information the charger has reported

  • Error

    • Possible error, if charger has reported such

Events are a great place to start searching for information, but if you feel like those don't provide enough you can continue to charger logs.
